Job summary

BestCare in Oregon is seeking a Mobile Crisis Case Coordinator to join a two-person crisis response team. Under a QMHP, you will assist with mobile crisis response, risk assessment, and crisis stabilization planning for adults and children in the County.

The role emphasizes connecting with individuals in crisis using lived experience, conducting assessments, coordinating with treatment providers, emergency departments, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field.
• Combined 3 years of higher education/work experience in behavioral health and/or addiction.
• For individuals in recovery, must have maintained continuous recovery for the past two years.
• Eligible/registered QMHA-R within one week and QMHA-I certification within six months.
• Must hold a valid Oregon Driver License with vehicle and be insurable; 21+; no Type A violations in past 3 years.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications or obtain within 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis risk assessment and intervention as part of mobile crisis team.
• Respond to crises in the assigned county; coordinate with hospitals, police, and community partners.
• Identify risk factors and develop safety planning or higher level of care recommendations.
• Document in EHR and comply with HIPAA and agency policies.
• Coordinate referrals to mental health services and higher levels of care.
• Collaborate with team and participate in trainings and meetings.
