Job summary

Memorial Health System seeks an experienced Mobile Crisis Response team member to deliver on-scene crisis intervention, comprehensive assessments, de-escalation, and stabilization for adults, children, and families across community and hospital settings, ensuring care is provided in the least restrictive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university (or meeting the 'Mental Health Professional' designation).
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial assessment data including presenting problems, mental status and histories to inform diagnosis or referrals.
• Provide direct crisis intervention at the scene using in-person and telehealth methods.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, EMS, and community providers for timely crisis response.
• Implement crisis procedures for potentially suicidal, homicidal, or severely disabled clients.
• Coordinate inpatient hospitalization with physicians and care teams as needed.
• Document assessments and coordinate referrals to inpatient/outpatient levels of care.
