Job summary

The Center for Counseling and Consultation in Kansas seeks a Crisis Case Manager / Peer Support Specialist to join Mobile Crisis and ACT teams. You will provide direct crisis support, assessments, treatment planning, and recovery-focused peer support to individuals in distress.

The role requires collaboration with law enforcement, hospitals, families, and community providers across four counties, plus documentation and ongoing professional development. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license with favorable driving record.
• Background free of issues related to abuse or neglect.
• Ability to complete Case Management Training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to individuals in crisis as part of a two-person Mobile Crisis Team serving four counties.
• Provide case management, assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for ACT clients.
• Offer one-on-one peer support to individuals in crisis and members of the ACT program.
• Use recovery-focused support to identify strengths and options for clients.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, families, and community providers to advocate for client needs.
• Maintain timely documentation of services and participate in team meetings.
