Job summary

La Clinica de Familia in Las Cruces, NM, is expanding to establish a Mobile Crisis Response Team to provide peer support to individuals with behavioral health needs and co-occurring conditions. As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will advocate, share information, and support recovery in a person-centered, trauma-informed, and confidential manner, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Certification as a certified peer specialist in the state of New Mexico.
Must maintain a clean driving record.
Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.

Responsibilities

Provide peer recovery support services to individuals with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug/alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses.
Act as a consumer advocate, providing information and support for consumers and assisting in their recovery process.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed, person-centered care.
