Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Response Peer Support Specialist to join the Mobile Response Team.

This entry-level role provides peer support under supervision to individuals in crisis and supports recovery from mental health and substance use disorders across the community. You will engage with clients, mentor them through crises, and help connect them with care resources while working in a fast-paced mobile setting.

Formación

• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
• A mental health/SUD lived experience.
• Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification or ability to obtain after hire within an agreed upon time frame.
• 80-hour Peer Support Learning or equivalent – successfully completed within 90 days of hire or has taken the training within 2-years of hire.
• Has current techniques of behavioral intervention training within six (6) months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide peer support under supervision of LMFT/LCSW/LPCC.
• Assist and support individuals in a mobile crisis.
• Engage in mentoring, advocating for people in recovery, and building relationships.
• Deploy into the community to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization.
