Job summary

Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) seeks a Mobile Rapid Response Crisis Team member to respond to adults in crisis, coordinating with Crisis Connections (988) and partners to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in community settings.

You will operate in two-person teams with Mental Health Professionals and Crisis Outreach Specialists, offering engagement, stabilization and linkage to needed services to reduce ER use and incarceration.

Qualifications

• CPSS credential or trainee eligibility required.
• Completion of CACPS training or ability to complete within 90 days.
• Lived experience as a consumer of behavioral health services or caregiver experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely crisis intervention and linkage to needed services.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to support assessments and treatment planning.
• Perform crisis outreach and follow-up to connect clients with services.
