Job summary

DESC (Downtown Emergency Service Center) seeks Mobile Rapid Response Crisis Team members to respond to adults in crisis across Seattle and King County. Teams of two provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and rapid linkage to services, aiming to avoid ER use and incarceration while coordinating follow-up care.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, harm-reduction principles, and collaboration with Crisis Connections (988).

Qualifications

• Requires WA registration or equivalent credential (AAC or superseding).
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Associate’s degree with two years’ mental health experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls with Crisis Connections (988) in Seattle/King County.
• Engage in crisis intervention, stabilization, and linkage to services.
• Perform data collection and documentation for program participants.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community resource programs.
• Assist clients in accessing internal resources and advocating for care.
