Job summary

RHA Health Services in Asheville seeks Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals for Mobile Crisis Management (MCM) roles. The team provides crisis response by answering crisis calls and coordinating with community responders to avoid hospitalization, serving adults most often in mental health or substance use crises.

Positions require a Masters or Bachelor’s in a human services field with crisis experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year crisis experience (ACTT, IIHS, inpatient facility, or other 24/7 crisis response duties).
• Must meet one of the education/experience combinations listed.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• CPR, first aid certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and revise the Person Centered Plan with the clinical team.
• Serve as a link between the company, families, guardians, local agencies and the community.
• Provide supportive counseling and help clients develop skills for daily living and socialization.
• Facilitate skill-building activities including daily living, socialization, and anger management.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call first-responder system and coordinate resources as needed.
• Perform Case Management to link services and referrals.
• Maintain communication with clinical staff, standardize procedures, and expedite PCP implementation.
• Ensure timely initial and re-authorizations for services and monitor utilization.
