Job summary

RHA Health Services is seeking a Crisis Responder/Mobile Crisis/Qualified Professional to serve Buncombe, Madison, and Yancey counties. This full-time role features 12-hour on-call shifts, weekends/holidays, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

The position supports individuals with mental health and substance use needs in various settings to prevent hospitalization. Required: Bachelor’s in Human Services with 2+ years crisis experience, or Master’s with 1+ year, or a Bachelor’s in another field with 4+

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements of a Qualified Professional.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field and 2+ years full-time experience with population served
• Master’s degree or higher with 1+ year experience with population served or Bachelor's in non-human Services with 4+ years experience

Responsibilities

• Provides crisis response in home, school, or community settings to avoid inpatient hospitalization.
• Promotes recovery, coping skills, and quality of life for individuals in crisis.
• Links clients with services and referrals; coordinates with family, guardians, and local agencies.
• Performs case management and collaborates with clinical staff to ensure timely service delivery.
