Job summary

The Manitowoc Company/MGX Equipment Services is seeking a Shop Crane Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks. The role reports to the Service Manager and offers a $4,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days and a tool reimbursement program up to $1,500 per calendar year.

Relocation assistance may be available to those who qualify. Typical hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with overtime and weekend work possible; you will perform

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of crane mechanic/technician experience.
Experience with Grove RT & TMS cranes, Grove GMK European cranes, Manitowoc EPIC/traditional cranes.
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

Inspect cranes to diagnose defects.
Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
Read blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
Test repaired equipment to OEM specs.
Prepare parts and drawings for jobs; complete reports and time sheets.
Work independently with strong customer service.
