Job summary

MGX Equipment Services is seeking a Field Crane Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks from the Bloomington, MN branch. The role reports to the Service Manager and includes a $4,500 sign-on bonus and tool reimbursement up to $1,500 per year.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and a mechanical background with the ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of one year of crane experience preferred.
• Mechanical background and ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and light equipment repair (oil changes, break jobs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Light diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting of mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
• Capable of performing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
• Fill out working reports, hours reports, time sheets and expense reports.
• Provide excellent customer service.
