Job summary

The Manitowoc Company is seeking MGX Shop Crane Technicians at the Salt Lake City, UT branch for MGX Equipment Services. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile cranes and boom trucks under the Branch Manager's guidance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with five years of mechanic/technician experience. A valid driver’s license is preferred, and overtime may be required. Sign-on bonus and tool reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least five years as a mechanic/technician.
• Experience with Grove and Manitowoc crane equipment is a strong plus.
• Safe, professional demeanor and punctuality are expected.

Responsibilities

• Operates and inspects cranes to diagnose defects.
• Tests mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems after repair.
• Reads manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Completes reports, timesheets, and expense reports accurately.
• Maintains safety compliance and customer communication.
• Works with minimal supervision and supports overtime as needed.
