Job summary

The Manitowoc Company is seeking an MGX Field Crane Technician to join our Bloomington, MN team. This role covers inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mobile cranes and boom trucks, reporting to MGX Equipment Services and the Service Manager.

You will perform light diagnosis and repairs, complete annual inspections, and document time and expenses while delivering strong customer service. Eligible for a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and tool reimbursement under our programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of crane mechanic experience.
• Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulics; able to read schematics.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and light equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Light diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting of various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
• Capable of performing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
• Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets and expense reports.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
