Job summary

The Manitowoc Company is seeking MGX Field Crane Technicians for our Aiken, SC branch. You will inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks under the supervision of the Service Manager. This full-time role offers a $25.00–$45.00 hourly wage, a $4,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days, and a tool reimbursement program up to $1,500 per year.

Relocation assistance may be available. Expect travel up to 50% of the time and detailed safety and reporting requirements while delivering

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulic reading ability.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and light repair.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for job sites and training.

Responsibilities

• Light diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting of mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
• Work independently without direct supervision.
• Perform annual inspections thoroughly and accurately.
• Complete work reports, hours, time sheets and expense documents.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients.
