Job summary
The Manitowoc Company is hiring MGX Shop Crane Technicians in Missouri to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks. A $4,500 sign-on bonus and tool reimbursement program enhance the role; relocation support may be available. Expect full-time hours with growth opportunities.
Technicians will read schematics, perform tests post-repair, and ensure OEM specifications are met while delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years crane mechanic/technician experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect cranes to diagnose defects and perform repairs.
- Diagnose and repair mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes; fix hydraulic/electrical components.
- Read blueprints and manuals; interpret technical drawings.
- Test equipment post-repair to ensure OEM specs.
- Complete reports, timesheets, and expense records; work with minimal supervision.
