Placements24 is seeking a proactive Mobile Catering Unit Supervisor for operations in Welkom. You will oversee the daily functioning of one or more mobile catering units, manage staff, coordinate logistics, and ensure service quality and health standards.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a customer‑focused approach to deliver great experiences at events and sites across the Free State.

Formación

• Experience supervising catering, food service, or mobile operations.
• Ability to manage staff and ensure performance.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene principles.
• Strong organizational and logistics planning skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Driver's license with clean record.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Proactive attitude and commitment to operational excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise mobile catering unit staff and ensure efficient workflow.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and serving to high standards.
• Schedule and deploy units to locations, optimize routes and times.
• Maintain cleanliness and working condition of units and equipment.
• Inventory food, beverages, and consumables; manage stock.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback.
• Assist with training new staff on procedures.
• Monitor performance and report on metrics.
• Manage fuel, maintenance, and expenses for units.
