Job summary

Hawthorne Health, a leading home research visit solution provider, is expanding its Home Network with dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for per diem work across the U.S. Visits occur at patient homes, with travel and per-visit compensation. Travel expenses (mileage, airfare, hotel) are reimbursed per visit.

Active cardiac/vascular imaging credentials and BLS are required. Contract is per diem as an independent contractor (1099).

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS/RCS).
• Active registration in vascular imaging (RVT/RVS).
• BLS certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel regionally and work in homes.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to conduct cardiac and vascular imaging visits.
• Set up portable ultrasound equipment and obtain informed cooperation.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Label images accurately for cardiology review and complete preliminary report.
• Adhere to ASE standards and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
