Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to conduct in-home imaging visits across the United States on a per-visit basis. You will travel regionally, set up portable ultrasound equipment, perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol, document findings, and ensure patient safety.

Compensation is $450–$600 per visit, with travel reimbursements as needed.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech savvy
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Adaptability in field-based environments
• Time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes to conduct visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards per ASE guidelines.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment
