Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer in Saint George, Utah, is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and painting. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and ensuring systems operate efficiently for a client in the shipping industry.

The position is mobile within St. George and surrounding areas, with no on-call or overtime, and company-provided vehicle, tools, phone, tablet, uniforms and PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs and climbing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program to improve efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
