Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a Mobile HVAC Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, mechanical, and utility systems. You will manage work orders, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting client requirements on site.

The role requires strong HVAC and mechanical skills, CFC certification, and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on proactive maintenance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage inventory/tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency repairs.
• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for compliance and operation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work activities.
• Apply advanced knowledge to complete complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach colleagues and share discipline knowledge within the function.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to reach consensus.
• Impact customer, operations, and project activities within the team.
• Work within broad guidelines and effectively explain difficult information.
