Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer in Albuquerque, NM, will monitor, maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and safety equipment. The role covers multiple client sites with a company vehicle provided and requires no on-call or overtime.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with 4–5 years of related experience, plus Universal CFC certification. Proficiency in MS Office and strong analytical skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 4–5 years of related experience
• Universal CFC certification and local/state licenses as required
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform extensive walking/climbing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems and controls
• Ensure building operates per codes and safety regulations
• Implement and support preventive maintenance program
• Assist with energy management and efficiency improvements
• Respond to emergency repairs as needed
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
