Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts seeks a skilled Field Mechanic Technician to deliver high-quality mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration and electrical services to Crash Champions locations and customers. The role combines mechanical repair with advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration, requiring travel in a company vehicle and adherence to OEM standards.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years' automotive experience, I-CAR PL3 within 90 days, ASE certification scheduling, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• The candidate must have 4+ years of automotive mechanical experience.
• I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire and ASE certification scheduled within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of ADAS, electrical systems, diagnostics, programming and calibrations.
• Experience with suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal and post-collision inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations and electrical diagnostics.
• Travel daily to service locations in a company vehicle.
• Conduct mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal and air bag work.
• Document all services per OEM guidelines and complete test drives to verify repairs.
• Own mechanical root-cause analysis and electronic validation of vehicle systems.
• Operate and program vehicle modules using factory or approved software.
• Adhere to safety protocols and OEM standards during repairs.
