Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Mechanic Technician to provide mobile diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and mechanical services to Crash Champions locations and customers. The role combines advanced diagnostics with hands-on repair work and requires independent field work across local routes.

The position demands 4+ years of automotive experience, I-CAR PL3 and ASE certs within 90 days, and ability to travel daily in a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years automotive mechanical experience required.
• I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire; ASE certification within 90 days.
• ADAS systems, electrical systems, diagnostics, programming, and calibrations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to customers.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in company vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical work, and mechanical repairs.
• Perform OEM-aligned inspections and post-repair validation.
• Document all services and provide clear communication with customers.
