Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) seeks a Field Mechanic Technician to perform high-quality mechanical, diagnostic, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety services for Crash Champions locations and partners. This role blends full mechanical repair responsibility with advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years of automotive experience, plan to complete I-CAR PL3 within 90 days, and ASE certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 4+ years automotive mechanical experience required.
• I-CAR PL3 certification within 90 days of hire.
• ASE certification scheduled within 90 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of ADAS, electrical, diagnostics, programming and calibrations.
• Experience with suspension, brakes, HVAC, dash removal, air bag installation, and post collision inspections.
• EV/Hybrid HV certification preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to internal and external customers.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company provided vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, scanning, programming, calibrations, electrical diagnostics, and related mechanical tasks.
• Conduct engine, drivetrain, and cooling system inspections per OEM standards.
• Document services, scans, calibrations, and billing per MCP guidelines.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repair outcomes.
