Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Southfield, MI is hosting a hiring event for Medical Laboratory Scientist II to join Diagnostic Lab of Michigan in support of diagnostic excellence.

The role involves performing high- and moderate-complexity testing, maintaining QC, and ensuring regulatory compliance while contributing to patient care.

Candidates should have an ASCP certification (preferred) or equivalent, and relevant laboratory experience; relocation not required.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience or training in high complexity testing.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience with most current year in present department.
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology, or an Associates degree in Laboratory Science.
• ASCP Certification (Preferred).

Responsabilités

• Perform test procedures of moderate/high complexity with independent judgment.
• Support QC, troubleshooting, instrument maintenance, and staff training.
• Enter test results into LIS and generate reports for physician review.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements.
• Maintain safe, clean laboratory areas and equipment.
