Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is seeking a production line operator to run the assigned line and achieve production targets while preserving quality, safety and hygiene. You will work with a team on a fast-paced, wet environment and ensure proper handovers with maintenance and the next shift.

The role requires basic ice cream knowledge, following procedures, and strong attention to detail. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for prior production experience.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• One-year related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Run the assigned production line and meet targets.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain hygiene, GMP, safety and waste controls.
• Handover to maintenance/next shift and report faults.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and food safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
• Maintain safety culture on the line.
