Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a Mix Room Supervisor to manage the factory Mix Room, ensuring safe, efficient production and staffing alignment. You will lead teams, balance labor, and push for quality while controlling costs and waste.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with leadership experience (or equivalent), strong mechanical skills, and a background in manufacturing or GMP environments. Overtime and shift flexibility are common in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and leadership experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience in a manufacturing/food processing environment preferred.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and manage shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Mix Room production teams.
• Plan staffing, labor allocation, and shift coverage.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met.
• Maintain documentation, training, and standard work.
• Coordinate handovers and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
