Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mission Engineering Analyst to develop multi-domain, mission-level simulations using the AFSIM framework and integrate Leidos software within the environment. You will work with SMEs, engineers, and analysts to produce robust models and actionable insights for DoD programs.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience (6+ with a Master’s), strong Python or MATLAB skills, and a US citizenship with TS clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related field; 8+ years experience. Masters with 6+ years acceptable.
• 4+ years in modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably using AF SIM.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB; strong DoD domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop models of multi-domain systems of systems and software in mission-level simulations using AFSIM.
• Create advanced models of space, air, maritime, and ground systems and evaluate models.
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming to maximize M&S scalability.
• Analyze simulation results and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with SMEs, software engineers, and analysts to maximize Operational Analysis productivity.
