Job description

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mission Support Administrator to join our team in the Reston, VA location. This is an onsite position.

The Mission Support Administrator will work with the Program Manager (PM), Deputy Program Manager (DPM), and program personnel to accomplish all program administrative requirements, including scheduling, documentation, security, travel, logistics, facilities, and financials.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Supporting all program administrative requirements, especially those related to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and associated requirements management, security, travel, facilities, and program deliverables.
  2. Supporting the PM, DPM, and Senior Project Integrator in developing, delivering, and maintaining the program’s IMS, ensuring it is kept up-to-date, and communicating status to the Sponsor.
  3. Supporting the Travel Coordinator to plan, schedule, and accomplish all program travel and pre-travel requirements.
  4. Supporting Security Administrators in tracking and documenting all security requirements and status.
  5. Supporting program procurement and logistics personnel in purchasing, tracking, and inventorying all program equipment.
  6. Updating program documentation and policies as directed and ensuring appropriate storage and access controls.
  7. Recommending process improvements and cost-saving measures for potential approval and implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of relevant experience accomplishing administrative, project management, and program support tasks.
  2. Strong experience managing multiple high-priority projects and competing requirements simultaneously while keeping all parties informed, communicating effectively, and documenting appropriately.
  3. Strong experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience accomplishing administrative tasks for a program with multiple local locations as well as overseas travel.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Poly.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Must be able to be in a stationary position for more than 50% of the time.
  2. Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  3. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  4. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  5. Occasionally needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
