Job summary

Vannevar seeks a Mission Lead on the East Coast to own mission outcomes for high-value deployments with government stakeholders. You will translate mission needs into technical narratives and coordinate with Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations to deliver and scale solutions.

The role requires 6+ years in complex customer environments, strong communication, and the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous settings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years owning outcomes in complex customer environments (SOF or PSYOPs/IO preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally without constant guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; can translate ambiguity into plans and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead mission engagements with operational, technical, and leadership stakeholders.
• Translate mission needs into clear problems, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Shape pilots and adoption plans to scale into sustained programs.
• Create crisp narratives mapping agent-based capabilities to mission requirements.
• Run weekly customer syncs, internal standups, and executive updates as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery with Product and Engineering to reflect mission context in scope and tradeoffs.
• Navigate contracting pathways, budgeting cycles, and requirements development.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and customer success to sustain capability use.
• Maintain high-signal Notion documentation: stakeholders, use cases, timelines, and decisions.
• Identify adjacent use cases and partner with Account teams for expansion.
