Job summary

Vannevar is seeking a Mission Lead on the East Coast (preferably Washington, DC) to be the customer-facing owner of mission outcomes. You will lead engagements with government stakeholders, shape pilots and deployments, and turn demonstrated mission value into durable, funded programs with high autonomy in ambiguity.

You will translate mission needs into clear technical narratives, coordinate with Product, Engineering, Mission, Security and Operations, and run weekly customer syncs and executive

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize ambiguity into clear plans and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally without consistent guidance.
• Ability to articulate a solution by connecting mission problems to software capabilities and measurable outcomes.
• Experience coordinating with Product and Engineering to reflect mission context in scope and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead mission engagements with government stakeholders to understand needs and success criteria.
• Translate mission problems into plans with milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Shape pilots and pathways to scale, defining objectives and adoption plans.
• Create clear technical narratives mapping agent-based capabilities to mission requirements.
• Run weekly customer syncs, internal standups, and executive updates as applicable.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery with Product and Engineering.
• Assist stakeholder budgeting, contracting pathways, and timelines.
