Job summary

Vannevar is seeking a Senior Mission Manager to lead the adoption of technology within government program offices. Applicants must have a current Top Secret clearance and extensive experience in defense missions.

The role involves working with program managers to translate needs into technical solutions and navigating challenges in program development. The position offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• U.S. Persons status with at least a current Top Secret US DoD or IC clearance is required.
• Experience as a retired O5/O6 or senior enlisted or civilian equivalent.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, mission-relevant narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements with program offices to identify mission problems.
• Translate program needs into technical narratives.
• Scope and shape program-based pilots.
• Pitch technology leveraging mission and domain background.
• Navigate programmatic realities including budgeting cycles.
• Partner closely with product managers and engineers.
• Convert successful pilots into sustained programs.
• Represent Vannevar Labs within the program ecosystem.
