Job summary

Vannevar seeks a Mission Lead to own outcomes in complex government engagements on Oahu. You will work with stakeholders to identify mission problems, shape pilots, and scale durable programs while operating with autonomy in ambiguous settings.

You will translate requirements into clear narratives, coordinate across Product, Engineering, and Mission teams, and maintain durable account knowledge to drive adoption and expansion.

Qualifications

• 6+ years owning outcomes in defense or regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functionally without consistent guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; synthesize ambiguity into clear plans and execution.
• Ability to scope and articulate a solution credibly: connect mission problems to software capabilities and measurable outcomes.
• Sufficient technical fluency to partner effectively with Product and Engineering and translate complex concepts.
• Strong planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead mission engagements with stakeholders to understand needs, constraints, and success criteria.
• Translate mission problems into plans with clear requirements, milestones, and outcomes.
• Shape pilots and pathways to scale with objectives, timelines, and adoption plans.
• Communicate technical narratives mapping agent-based capabilities to mission requirements.
• Run operating cadence with weekly customer syncs, internal standups, and reviews.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery with Product and Engineering for mission context.
• Navigate requirements, budgets, contracting, and coordination across organizations.
• Enable adoption through onboarding, training, and customer success.
• Maintain durable account knowledge in Notion with stakeholders and timelines.
• Support expansion by identifying adjacent use cases with Account teams.
