Job summary

Voyager Technologies, based in Pueblo, CO, seeks a Commissioning Engineer to join the Mission Infrastructure Engineering team dedicated to commissioning lifecycle, testing, documentation, and operational handoff across facility projects.

With 3–5 years in commissioning or systems testing, you will collaborate with senior engineers, contractors, and cross-functional teams in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment, advancing toward greater technical ownership and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3 years of commissioning/verification experience or 7 years in lieu of degree.
• Experience in commissioning, startup, or systems testing in industrial or construction settings.
• Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and equipment specs.
• Proven track record generating punch lists and closeout documentation.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning lifecycle across facility projects with plans, scripts, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in design/construct reviews with cross-disciplinary teams to flag issues.
• Maintain site presence during build; witness installations and track punch lists.
• Support pre-functional and functional testing across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to troubleshoot and keep projects moving safely.
