Job summary

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency seeks a Training and Development Coordinator to support professional development for staff and external partners. You will design, coordinate, and deliver training programs, provide technical writing for clear learning materials, and support LMS-based learning management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
• One year of experience in training coordination or technical writing.
• Ability to develop clear training materials and documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and LMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal staff training and external partner training events.
• Assist in onboarding and ongoing staff training sessions.
• Maintain training calendars and ensure deliverables meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve training materials (SOPs, manuals, e-learning).
• Organize content into clear, user-friendly formats with visuals.
• Use LMS to enroll staff, track participation, and report compliance.
• Prepare written reports and support quarterly/annual reporting.
• Draft internal communications to promote training opportunities.
