Job summary

Four Oaks Enterprise in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to deliver training to staff in classroom, virtual, and in-program settings, and to support internal and external customers. You will coach, model skills, evaluate training quality, manage LMS, and ensure regulatory compliance while contributing to a positive, growth‑oriented workplace.

The role includes developing training resources and supporting accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, education or related field with group facilitation/training experience.
• AA and 3 years’ experience in the field with group facilitation/training experience.
• 6 years experience in the field with group facilitation/training experience.
• Iowa Teaching License and/or BD/LD Strat II preferred but, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides in-person training of company curriculum to employees in an engaging manner that promotes learning.
• Coaches, mentors, and models skills learned in the classroom in real-world settings.
• Continuously evaluates and improves the quality and effectiveness of training.
• Assesses enterprise training needs & develops appropriate training resources.
• Gathers & analyzes agency training documentation, including regulatory compliance.
• Maintains the agency Learning Management System (LMS).
• Manages and maintains employee training files and regulatory compliance.
