Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Store Manager in Mesa to drive retail operations at our main thrift location. You will lead the team, manage payroll, inventory, and donations processing, and ensure excellent customer service while advancing the organization's mission.

Responsibilities include setting goals, coordinating with district leadership, maintaining store standards, and developing staff through coaching and training.

Qualifications

• Two years' work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
• One-year customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
• Coordinates with Retail District Manager to drive donations and store performance.
• Monitors inventory, payroll costs, and operating costs to meet budgets.
• Ensures exceptional customer service to donors and customers.
• Maintains store appearance and brand standards; trains and develops team members.
• Drives community engagement and partnerships to support the mission.
