Job summary

Catholic Housing Services in Washington state is seeking a compassionate Property Manager to lead day-to-day operations at affordable housing communities. The role oversees onsite staff, coordinates with maintenance and supportive services, and ensures a safe, compliant, and welcoming living environment for residents.

The position is full-time, 40 hours, with a competitive benefits package and a pay range of $29.15–$31.48 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of on-site property management experience including supervising others.
• Demonstrated ability to meet KPI s in Property Management.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and property management software.
• Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize and follow through to completion.
• Excellent communication in writing and speaking.
• Ability to work with people who may be experiencing homelessness or health issues.

Responsibilities

• Promote a healthy, team-oriented work environment with quality service and leadership.
• Foster a community where staff feel valued and contribute to positive resident outcomes.
• Supervise onsite operations staff including the Assistant Property Manager, Maintenance Technician and Custodial Staff.
• Screen, hire, onboard and train new personnel following company guidelines.
• Provide ongoing coaching, counseling and guidance to staff.
• Complete daily/weekly office and maintenance tasks; monitor progress and schedules.
• Address performance issues and communicate with leadership as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and safety practices.
• Attend to resident relations and enforce lease terms with fairness.
