Job summary

United Service Organizations, Inc. (USO) seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage RFx sourcing, contract administration, and internal communications.

This in-person role is based in Arlington, VA, with responsibilities spanning vendor engagement, approval workflows, and system support. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in procurement, with nonprofit or military sector experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years progressively responsible work experience in a purchasing/procurement role. Not-for-profit, military, multicultural and/or global organization experience preferred.
• General knowledge of contracting and purchasing tools, processes and best practices in a global operations environment.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact with USO Leadership and external stakeholders with integrity.
• Proficiency using computers and electronics equipment; knowledge of Microsoft Office and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• RFx Process: facilitate sourcing events, gather vendor responses, support negotiation of agreements on behalf of business units.
• Contract Administration: manage contract approval workflow, liaise with legal, and maintain records.
• Support: serve as internal procurement contact, assist with process guidance and training materials for system enhancements.
• Training & system management: manage Coupa user profiles and oversee communications related to system updates.
