Job summary

The USO Center Operations Specialist at the Philadelphia location is responsible for running day-to-day operations of one or more USO Centers, maintaining a safe, friendly environment for service members and families, and supporting cost-effective programs and events.

This role emphasizes customer service, volunteer coordination, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure high-quality experiences and successful program delivery in and around USO Centers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in event management, marketing, retail, customer service, recreation facility or related role.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact with USO Leadership, the general public and military audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required credentials for USO Center locations.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Center operational procedures, ensuring a safe, welcoming and clean environment.
• Engage with Center visitors and assist with Center amenities, tours, classes, programs and services.
• Help plan, oversee and deliver programs and events, coordinating resources and assets.
