Job summary

Blood Cancer United is seeking a mission-driven fundraiser to build relationships with volunteers and implement peer-to-peer fundraising products. You will work to exceed revenue goals within a designated market area, coordinating with education, services and health research teams to advance our mission to cure blood cancers.

You will manage volunteers and committees, recruit new partners, and contribute to strategic planning for fundraising programs, while traveling within the designated area

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with Education, Services and Health Research to communicate Blood Cancer United's mission, programs, priorities.
• Organize mission-centered, local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors for national stewardship activities.
• Drive high-impact peer to peer fundraising to achieve revenue goals.
• Develop recruitment plans and secure new partners through independent research, prospecting and volunteer relationship building.
• Recruit fundraising volunteers who participate in peer-to-peer fundraising products resulting in revenue growth and achievement of goals.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the Blood Cancer United mission and programs to promote organizational initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
