Job summary

Blood Cancer United is seeking a highly motivated fundraising professional to build relationships with volunteers, cultivate donors, and drive peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives. The role partners with campaign leadership to exceed revenue goals within a designated market area.

You will engage education, services, and health research teams to promote the mission, organize local donor events, and develop a robust volunteer network to sustain long-term impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 - 6 years’ experience in a directly relatable role.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising & Relationship Building: Drive peer-to-peer fundraising to meet revenue budget.
• Implement organizational campaign standards across event portfolio to achieve budget.
• Maintain KPI view of revenue performance and use data to drive activity.
• Build sponsorship pipeline, secure meetings, and close partnerships.
• Collaborate with local region team and national shared service partners.
• Mission Integration: Communicate Blood Cancer United mission and priorities; organize donor cultivation events.
• Volunteer and Network Management: Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteers; develop recruitment plans and secure partners.
• Research, network and prospect for volunteers and corporate partners to build revenue and mission pipeline.
