Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Superintendent to lead safety culture, manage subcontractors, and drive on-site operations on key projects. You will oversee field teams, manage schedules, and ensure quality and timeliness from mobilization to project closeout.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, planning and collaboration with owners, design teams, and authorities. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors others. Investigates incidents and retrains staff.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality) for the project.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates care, custody and control of the project site.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings; participates in progress meetings.
• Manages project schedule with Project Manager; updates logs and reports.
• Monitors budget and costs using the project management system.
