Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent to lead safety culture and manage complex projects in Ohio. You will oversee subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and field operations on large industrial/mfg/data center projects, ensuring quality and timely deliveries.

The role requires strong leadership, Lean experience, and collaboration with owners, architects and field teams. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles (Preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture on the project and mentors staff.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs such as Safety, Quality, and EEO for the project.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings; participates in OAC meetings.
• Creates and adjusts project schedule with Project Manager; tracks costs and budgets.
• Communicates project information to owners, design team and vendors.
• Supports procurement and formwork/tool selection for self-perform operations.
