Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Sales Specialist to champion logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for public safety. You will guide 911 centers and municipal decision-makers through procurement cycles to secure long-term Recording as a Service contracts and related revenue.

Responsibilities include forecasting revenue, maintaining Salesforce hygiene, and networking with 911 directors, IT managers, and city purchasing agents, with up to 50% travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety.
• OR 4+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety.
• Industry experience: 3+ years selling technology directly to public safety agencies, local governments or municipalities.
• Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sales engagements within emergency dispatch centers and public safety settings.
• Guide federal, state, and local agencies through procurement cycles to secure solutions.
• Forecast revenue and maintain Salesforce hygiene with regional visibility.
• Identify and build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and city purchasing agents.
