Job summary

Suffolk Construction seeks a Project Manager for Mission Critical projects in Houston. This role oversees the full lifecycle, including budget and schedule maintenance, contract administration, and coordination with owners, trade partners and vendors to drive project success.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, managing documentation, controlling change orders, and ensuring safety, risk, and quality standards are met throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or applicable discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of related project management experience in construction.
• Strong understanding of contracts, budgets, schedules, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with Suffolk field supervision, subcontractors and vendors to meet the project schedule.
• Represent Suffolk with owners, architects, consultants and authorities.
• Administer financial aspects of contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Build relationships with clients and the project team to drive progress.
• Coordinate start-up tasks, budgets, milestones and safety planning.
• Maintain purchase orders, logs, change orders and shop drawings.
• Attend meetings and manage project documentation and approvals.
• Manage payroll, cash flow and timely payments to minimize issues.
