Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Mission Critical) to lead project administration, budget control, and change order management on complex projects. The role requires coordinating with trade partners, preparing cost-to-complete forecasts, and ensuring risk is managed throughout the project lifecycle.

You will oversee the development of schedules, value tracking, and pay requisitions, while ensuring timely reporting to the Owner and managing subcontractor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline required.
• 10+ years of experience in project management for large-scale projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with budget development, forecasting, and cost control.
• Proven ability to manage change orders and subcontractor relationships.
• Familiarity with project controls and scheduling processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project administration, including contractual requirements and risk management.
• Lead Budget Updates with cost-to-complete forecasts and analyze exposures.
• Oversee Change Order Management and maintain up-to-date owner/contractor communications.
• Drive Project Close Out with documentation and CCQ processes.
• Manage cash flow and Schedule of Values to support project finances.
• Lead meetings, logs, and relationships with owners and subcontractors.
