Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) contract, serving as the primary liaison with government stakeholders and directing a specialized team delivering CBRN detection support to federal, state, local, and tribal partners.

Responsibilities include oversight of staffing, reporting, budgeting, and coordination with the CWMD program office. This role requires travel, surge deployments, and 24/7 readiness to support DHS CWMD operations.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain DHS Suitability and Secret-level Security Clearance.
• CBRN operations experience with planning and execution (20+ years preferred).
• NIMS/ICS certifications (ICS-100, 200, 700) or equivalent training.
• Minimum of 5 years of personnel management and leadership experience.
• Strong written and spoken English with stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract work, manage staff timecards, hiring, retention and talent management.
• Lead Technical Support Specialists (TSS) and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate CBRN detection operations for national security events and threat responses.
• Deliver weekly progress, monthly budget/status, and annual performance reports; maintain testing programs.
• Monitor budgets, travel authorizations and procurements; approve ODCs.
• Provide CBRN operations support including planning, logistics, equipment checks, and reporting.
• Maintain professional standards for the MDDP in communications with staff and partners.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly program status reports to the CWMD MDDP program office.
• Schedule 40-hour flex work, including nights, weekends, and holidays; be available 0800–1700 EST.
