Job summary

Imperative Logistics Group seeks a Logistics Coordinator II to manage end-to-end time-critical freight movements across air, ocean, road, and multimodal channels. You will coordinate urgent shipments, monitor status in real time, and ensure compliance with customer timelines and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in multimodal logistics operations.
• Experience handling time-sensitive and mission-critical shipments.
• Familiarity with CargoWise One or similar TMS.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute time-sensitive shipments across all modes (Air, Ocean, Trucking, and Multimodal).
• Oversee mission-critical freight operations, including expedited, white-glove, and high-priority shipments.
• Monitor and track shipments in real time and provide timely updates to internal teams and customers.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and global partners to secure capacity and optimize routing.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless freight movement and adherence to SLAs.
• Utilize CargoWise One (preferred) or other TMS systems for booking, tracking, and documentation.
• Handle project cargo and oversized freight movements with compliance to regulations.
• Analyze and optimize processes to reduce transit delays and improve response times.
• Support after-hours and weekend coverage for urgent shipments.
