Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group in Texas seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead safety culture, coordinate subcontractors, and drive project delivery on large industrial, data center, and manufacturing initiatives. You will develop work plans, manage budgets and schedules, ensure QA/QC, and communicate with owners, design teams and field staff.

Requires 8+ years in construction and 5+ years of field supervision; A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Ability to lead safety culture and mentor staff.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and injury-free environment; investigates incidents and retrains staff.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job/workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody, and control.
• Leads meetings and participates in progress/OAC meetings.
• Creates and manages project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Tracks budgets and costs using cost reports.
• Communicates project information to owners, design team, and suppliers.
• Ensures QA/QC through specifications and external resources.
• Supports project closeouts and pre-punch activities.
• Assists in project pursuit and pre-plan development.
